Why Adopt?

Millions of dogs and cats end up homeless every year through no fault of their own. For example, their owner might have financial or health issues, or the pet might get lost and not find their way home.

When you adopt, you give a pet a needed second chance at a loving home. In return, you may find the best friend you’ve always wanted.

Surveys show that people report feeling more relaxed and happier when they’re with a pet, that pets help reduce loneliness, and that pet ownership helps promote strong communities.
