For the second year in a row, Mars Petcare is offering scholarships to give underrepresented minority students in its hometown community more educational opportunities, so they can share their talents, voice and purpose for a better future for people and pets.
About the Scholarship
Five $10,000 scholarships are available to help cover the cost of tuition and other educational expenses for students who plan to enroll in a 4-year degree program in a business- or pet-related field. Awarded students will also be eligible for an internship with Mars Petcare during their junior year of college.
Eligibility
The scholarship is open to students who are:
- Residents of Williamson or Davidson counties in Tennessee
- Underrepresented minority high school students as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau
- Starting first year of college between Fall 2024 and Summer 2025
- Enrolled/planning to enroll in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in a business- or pet-related field
- And have a minimum high school cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 2.5

Applications for the scholarships will be accepted from Friday, March 15, through Sunday, May 12, at 11:59 p.m. Central Daylight Time (CDT).*
