Activities for People and Pets

Among its pet-friendly attractions, Daytona Beach boasts events and locations that welcome pets, including:

  • People & Paws Beach Cleanup. This monthly special event hosted by Daytona Dog Beach, Inc. provides volunteers an opportunity to bring their dogs, while they conduct a mile long beach cleanup on Daytona Beach.

  • Yappy Hour at Sky Rooftop Bar. Pictured above, this is a weekly event co-hosted by Daytona Dog Beach, Inc and Streamline Hotel. The event is held on the Sky Rooftop Bar, which provides a 360-degree view of Daytona Beach and the surrounding area. Participants are welcome to bring their dogs each week for “Yappy Hour.”

  • Bark in the Park. The Daytona Tortugas are a minor league baseball team, the Class A Affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds. Their home field is Jackie Robinson Ballpark in Daytona Beach. Once a month, during baseball season, Bark in the Park allows fans to purchase a “pooch pass” so their four-legged friend can enjoy a nine-inning game with them. In the photo below are Bark in the Park Sponsors, Nauti Pets and Daytona Dog Beach, Inc., with the Tortuga Mascot.
