Why is Camuy a Pet-Friendly City?

Certified in the BETTER CITIES FOR PETS™ program in 2022, Camuy, Puerto Rico scored especially well in the Homes trait of our pet-friendly cities model. It was the first city certified in Puerto Rico.

The city helps support pet parents in caring for their pets, for example by offering low-cost vaccination clinics on a regular basis.

The city’s town center includes a variety of pet-friendly businesses, including veterinary services, a pet grooming boutique and hotel, and multiple restaurants that offer doggy pops, such as:
