To become certified, cities shared data on existing and future pet-friendly features related to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bettercitiesforpets.com\/media\/uploads\/2019\/11\/Mars-Petcare-Better-Cities-For-Pets-2019-Annual-Report-Digital-sm.pdf\">12 traits of a pet-friendly city<\/a> across the areas of businesses, parks, shelters and homes.
