Grand Forks Mayor on Certification
“Becoming a BETTER CITIES FOR PETS™ certified city reiterates our value of a holistic approach to creating a healthy and vibrant culture and community. With this certification, our goal for our community members is to capitalize on the benefits of pet ownership, including the tendency to get more exercise, achieve lower levels of stress and loneliness, and increase social ties. Pets are part of the family, and I’m excited to see what comes next for our great community with this certification.”
